Saw
Aiyoh, this isn’t anywhere near Kill Bill, which was what my roomie thought it might be like. Definitely not a dinner movie either. I wanted to watch Million Dollar Baby as from what I’ve been hearing about Saw, how can you watch gore and eat dinner? Sad to say, Saw prevailed, and somewhere through the movie, I lost my appetite.
If you enjoyed Se7en, you’ll enjoy Saw. It provides the same suspense and sickness, somewhat psychotic masterminds of a sick demented guy, with a rational. His aim is to make people enjoy the lives they have been given, instead of wasting it away like they are. Each of his victims either die a gory death, or live, forever changed.
Is he a murderer? Maybe, yet not quite, for he never kills any of his victims. But every movie like this has it’s twists – what twist could this movie hold? Watch it to find out – just don’t watch it while eating.
